Summer Integrated Program 2007

The Summer Integrated Program (SIP) provides you with a world class experience. Participants from around the globe travel each summer to Washington, D.C. to learn more about food safety risk analysis. JIFSAN instructors are experts who are interested in meeting your needs. Individual attention is possible because class size is kept small.

The Washington, D.C. area provides history, American culture, and the opportunity to experience the Capital lifestyle while networking with us and your international colleagues. JIFSAN hosts one free cultural activity each week, and there are many opportunities to explore Washington, D.C. on your own.

We understand how difficult it is to re-enter your home organization and to begin to implement what you have learned. Your organization's leaders, your peers, and your employees may not want to make changes. Informal lunch-time discussions and coaching is planned for students who sign up for the two or three week program.

Consider bringing the whole family with you. Washington, D.C. is one of the top vacation sites in the U.S.. Most museums, monuments, and the zoo are free. Public transportation is inexpensive, safe, and clean. Special hotel rates are available (see lodging link below).
