Core Certificate Courses (10 days)

Four courses provide key aspects of risk analysis, management, assessment, and communication. These are the four courses in the Core Certificate Program.  You may enroll in all four or choose the courses most important to you.  Click on the course titles for more information

• Food Safety Risk Management


• Food Safety Risk Communication


• Food Safety Risk Assessment

Additional intermediate courses comprise the last five days of the program.

SIP Quantitative Track Certificate (15 days)

• Core Certificate Courses, plus
   
  • Quantitative Risk Assessment Methods: Probabilistic Methods
     
  • Quantitative Risk Assessment Methods: Model Building
     

JIFSAN certificates of completion are awarded for each individual course. A special certificate is awarded when the Core Program or Quantitative Track Program are completed. Continuing Education Units are provided by the University of Maryland.
